WHAT’S ALL THE FUSS ABOUT TIME ?

-A VALENTINE’S MESSAGE

As Valentine’s Day is here, do you ever wonder if you could find a fulfilling connection that truly supports you or do you find yourself feeling unworthy as you struggle towards achievement in life?

A lady spoke to me this morning about an intellectual endowment fund bequeathed to her, it was the twenty-seventh day of her illness, but her pious and devoted soul had healed her. She had talked in a melancholic way — expressing a profound regret about life, and I had no fear she should be reprimanded that somebody, who had been certified medically fit, needs to be grateful to God.

A great wave of sorrow surged into her heart, I could observe. She tried with every sinew and every limb to stem the flow of her tears, but the tears wobbled down her chest. I, too, felt I wanted to cry without knowing what I could cry for. I had no hesitation probing into her main concern — of regret.

She lamented: ” What a terrible struggle! At my age, I have no husband and no child. Do you realize Valentine’s Day is a day away? No one to call or to celebrate with- no child, husband or even a committed boyfriend ’’.

She added that she was marking time, ‘ how could that be, despite how she had sacrificed for love. She had been in a relationship in which she was committed to, yet it didn’t work out. At this age, no family to boast of, no husband or child to celebrate my Valentine’s Day with “, she said.

‘ Is that what has caused you such a deep sorrow?’, I inquired. She felt like time was slipping through her fingers.

Let’s get something straight: What is all the fuss about time?

That time is relative, is not a metaphysical thought and philosophical postulation; it is a scientific fact. This fact forms part of the acceptability of Einstein’s theory of relativity. We all agree that Albert Einstein was declared the greatest physicist of the century. His postulation should be given considerable regard– as long as material science is concerned.

So time is or should not be measured on how fast you are moving. It will depend on your transmission of energy — social, spiritual, and mind combined.

Time can either slow down or speed up. In actuality, this is the truth about time.

Can you then see that perception about time is purely a human construct and not a universal truth?

If we look at this concept shrewdly – in terms of application to the working of our lives’ affairs, it will challenge us to rethink our approach to life – as it affects our desires, fulfillment, happiness, needs, and ambitions, as well as our planning, vision, goals, and understanding of the process of the universe. It will make us know that the line between the past, the present, and the future is completely blurred, that growth and decay, organization, and chaos, are all systemic natural processes making up the universe, it will make us realize that nothing matters more than our soul essence.

This is a reason you should not bother about what your mates are achieving, even when you are not close to achieving such.

Pondering! The ones that have achieved certain things at a young age sometimes die quite early, while some die without even starting anything. Some live quite long and make significant achievements at last and even left some achievements before they die. Some were born with a silver spoon and died when on a luxury or pleasure trip that many couldn’t afford. Some were born into wealth but ended up losing wealth and all inheritance before they died. Some get married so early and regret ever getting married, while some marriages end up in some people’s lives at a tender age. Some never married but end up having an independently pleasant life. Some bear kids that turn out successful while some who gave birth early in their life ended up breeding criminals. Life is full of cycles and complexes, collectively ending in unanswered questions — ” Who are we humans ?’’.

Have we ever really achieved or owned anything — wealth, marriages, kids, friendship, and so on? All pale into insignificance as time goes on, as we leave them behind.

As you go deeper and deeper, measuring time, it is like quantum physics working on an atom, you see that there is nothing there — just energy waves being held up in a human’s construct.

Far from us be the thought, that anything which escapes our observations and answers in any most hidden or complex recess of nature either evades the knowledge or transcends the power of the Creator of all things.

Stop worrying about time. It is human construct that has no bearing on your soul and the reality of life .

You must not get married, have kids, build houses, and do other things at a certain age that at the end will mean nothing to our individual souls. You must not do what others are doing. Let people drive their own destinies. It has nothing to do with you.

Don’t get me wrong. Having material success, marrying, having a lover-partner, and having kids early , etc , all are good, as much as they make us happy. But you can also be happy without these. Happiness is relative. It is not tight to time.

Fill up your soul, mind and spirit with universal love at all times while you strive towards daily human endeavors, as each time brings you happiness and joy. For all the flesh which hunger has consumed finds its way into the air by evaporation, whence, as we have said, only God Almighty is the everlasting constancy.

Nothing should stop your joy and happiness. Not even a human construct called “TIME”.
