I write with my name, and also under a pen name in a plethora of works. I am pretty sure nothing and no condition is ” Poverty incest ” about me.
Privation? Considerably, I’m compelled to contemplate that privation here implies solitary. In that case, to be successful at writing works, just as in scientific experimentation, every good author needs serenity and absolute isolation. Better phrased: for meaningful writing work, complete disconnection from distractions is a sine qua non. Not in terms of lack of basic things.
Drinking? I drink Heineken beer, and good types of Whisky and Brandy, but I have never in my entire life been found drunk or found myself so, talk less of being alcoholic, never addicted to any other thing consuming, and I have never attempted drugs or smoking of any kind.
Sex? I can’t talk about that.
Just like growth in spirituality, which is a private business between you and the God of your heart, sexual life is absolutely an issue of privacy. One does not need to tell folks if he is good at sex if at all he indulges in sex if he’s conditionally celibate or if he’s living in a purity level devoid of sex.
In conclusion, on the contrary, authors do not need a diversified- career nuptial partner or any spouse at all to be able to live well.
Elnathan John and Jeff Bishop are actually making a reflection of themselves, not a collective representation of authors. I guess.
